Castleville: Mia-Cooking Appreciation Quest

Cooking Appreciation (1-10)

	Available to level 11 or above, and Completed  "Get Cooking" Quest. This Mia's Quest will bring new crops (Magical Beans) and some new recipes. The rewards are:

1. Where have you beans?
“I’ve heard about a special crop called Magic Beans. Mmm-mmm! Sounds like a special ingredient! We just need to find some.”

• Chop 15 trees in your Kingdom (Click on Trees to chop them)
• Fish 7 times in your Kingdom and find out  (Click on the Fishing Pond to fish)
• Tend 5 flowers in your Kingdom and see if you can sniff out any beans (Tend flowers in your Kindgom)
• Rewards: 1000 coins, 20 XP

2. Don’t Have a Cow

“That Thief seems suspicious to me, but he said he has Magic Beans. Let’s make the deal – but if he pulls anything funny, I’ll whack him with my Rolling Pin!”

• Sell 1 Cow. It’s the only way to get Magic Beans (Click on the Design tool and then on the cow to sell it. You can sell a Baby cow fro,m your inventory)
• Tend plants and mine Rocks 10 times in Neighbor’s Kingdoms. Look for the suspicious characters by visiting Neighbors.
• Have 5 Wash Basins to rinse off the Magic Beans (Ask Friends)
• Rewards: 1000 coins, 20 XP
  

3. Taste Testing

“These Magic Beans might add some flavor to a cupcake. You work on gathering the ingredients, Honey, while I perfect a new recipe in the Kitchen.”

• Harvest 10 Magic Beans (Buy at the Market or by click on an Empty farming plot)

• Craft 4 Batter (Craft => Kitchen. Materials: 4 Milk Bottles, 2 Eggs, 2 Sugar, 1 Flour Sack. Crafting time: 15 minutes)

• Craft 4 Surprise Cupcakes for the Duke to taste test! (Craft => Kitchen and own a Mill. Materials: 4 Magic Beans, 3 Stick of Butter, 2 Eggs, 2 Honey. Crafting time: 2.5 hours)

• Rewards: 1750 coins, 35 XP

4. Let’s make Whoopie

“Oooh, that Duke! He ate all our cupcakes! We need to make a full-sized cake – one big enough for everyone!”

• Craft a Brick Oven big enough to hold your Whoopie Cake (Craft => Workshop. Materials: 2 Stone Blocks, 2 Wood Planks, 5 Reputations. Crafting time: 3 hours)

• Help your Neighbors with their Whoopie Cake by tending 4 Neighbors’ Kitchens
• Craft 6 Whoopie Cakes for the residents of your Kingdom! (Crafted => Kitchen and own a Mill. Materials: 4 Magic Beans, 2 Sticks of Butter, 3 Spicy Cloves, 6 Honey. Crafting time: 2.5 hours)

• Rewards: 3250 coins, 65 XP, Bread Stand

5. Knock Out!

“What has gotten into Rafael all of a sudden? He’s been acting crazy ever since he ate that cake. Sugar, we need to do something with him!”

• Have 3 Rolling Pins to smack Rafael. Get him out of my Kitchen! (Ask friends)
• Craft 2 Fishing Bait and dump him by the River. He’ll think he’s been fishing (Craft =>  Workshop. Materials: 1 Rat tail, 3 honeys, 1 Alchemist Powder. Crafting time: 14 minutes)

• Craft 3 Grape Juices for his hangover (Craft => Kitchen. Materials: 10 Grapes, 5 Pails of Water. Crafting time: 1.5 hours)
• Rewards: 3250 coins, 65 XP, Bread Stand

6. What’s in the Cake

“My cake is making everyone fall in love. What’s that? Yvette fed her cake to a Sheep? That’s just plain wrong!”

• Feed 10 Sheep in Neighbors’ Kingdoms
• Collect 10 Wool to construct a decoy Sheep (Tend Sheep to gather 10 Wool. Wool can be gathered from adult sheep)
• Place 5 Nature Decorations. Maybe Yvette will sing to something other than the Sheep! (Market => Nature)
• Rewards: 1000 coins, 20 XP

7. Lock Him Up! 

“The Duke is asking for seconds, but we need to keep him away. We’ve locked him up before, let’s do it again till we can create an Antidote!”

• Tend the Duke’s Bakery. Or anyone’s Bakery. He’ll come running! (Tend the Bakery in the Duke’s Kingdom. Or any Neighbors Bakery by clicking on it)
• Craft 4 things in the Kitchen to use as bait for the Duke (Craft => Kitchen)
• Have 3 Fine Wire to tie around the Bakery! (Ask friends for Fine Wire)
• Rewards: 1750 coins, 35 XP

8. Enough is Enough!

“OH MY WORD! Did you hear what Rafael said to me? This is getting out of hand.”

• Have 7 Love letters to distract Rafael ( Ask Friends for Love Letters)
• Collect 10 cold Pails of Water to cool Rafael off! (Pails of water can be collected by Fishing)
• Craft a Wood Club in case he gets frisky! (Craft => Workshop. Materials: 5 Wood Logs, 1 Alchemist Powder. Crafting time: 10 minutes)
• Rewards: 1500 coins, 30 XP

9. The Antidote

“Ok, I’ve come up with an Antidote that works. Rafael has apologized for the way he had been acting, so it must be working! We just need enough for everyone.”

• Collect 15 Ogre’s Belches as part of the Antidote (Gather Ogre’s Belches by tending Grass or Roots)
• Have 15 Honey to sweeten the Belches for everyone (Tend flowers to get Honey)
• Rewards: 1000 coins, 20 XP

10. Never Tasted So Good! 

“Everyone is acting like themselves again! I feel so bad for putting them through all this… will you help me apologize?”

• Have 10 Milk Bottles so Mia can apologize (Get Milk Bottles from feeding Adult Cows)
• Have 1 Batter to make bean-free Cupcakes! (Batter  => Kitchen. Materials: 4 Milk Bottles, 2 Eggs, 2 Sugar, 1 Flour Sack. Crafting time: 15 minutes)
• Bake 7 plain Cupcakes for everyone to enjoy! (Craft => kitchen. Materials: 1 Batter, 1 Sprinkle. Crafting time: 2 hours)
• Rewards: 1750 coins, 35 XP, Pot Belly Stove
