Castleville: FAQ: My Martha Spirit Bar Is Missing and Now?

FAQ: Where Did My Martha Spirit Bar Go?

The 3rd and final Martha Spirit Bar

Some of players are wondering why their Spirit Bar from the Martha Stewart quests has gone missing. There are two reasons for this to happen:
  1. You have completed the 12th quest, and unlocked the final Party, the Spring Feast, by earning 50 Spirit points. Then the bar disappears, because will no longer need to progress the Spirit Bar. You can craft the Spring Feast until the Martha quests expire. Once you complete the 12th quest and earned all of the sweet rewards.
  2. If you have not unlocked the Spring Feast and you need to make progress on the Bar for the quest, please see the Official Bug Reporting thread here: http://forums.zynga.com/showthread.php?1410939 and

ASK Zynga Support to "FIX IT" (CLICK HERE)

Before contacting zynga, check if you have all the rewards (Pergola, Rabbit-Hatch and Greenhouse). If you do, you don't need to contact zynga:

Castleville: Inside of Baz's Giant Trap in Bump Night

What is inside of your Giant Trap?

In the Baz quest "Bump in the Night" (CLICK HERE), you have to check what is inside of the giant trap. The reward is random and usually is an animal. So what did you get?

Let's try this TIP (I am!):
"Open it with your finger ready on refresh, see what it is, if a sheep or pig refresh as quick as you can. Reload and the trap is ready to open again. Do another action before trying it again and the animal inside should have changed. Repeat until you get the animal you want."

Updated 02/08/2012 at 20:50
Greetings you highness,

It has been brought to our attention that a number of players are missing out on the opportunity to start Mia's quest line. A communication error is preventing Mia quests from properly populating for all users. The CastleVille team has identified the cause of this problem and is working double time to process a fix. Mia is the newest character in CastleVille and we know nobody wants to be left behind.

We appreciate your feedback and will work hard to quickly resolve this problem. There is no need to email us about this setback. If you are affected by this problem you can help by selecting the 'Please Fix' button below. This will place fire under the CastleVille team and help prioritize a fix for this problem. Thanks for your patience while we sort out this mess.

Castleville: How can I move George?

Hey George!!! Go your way and move your fat butt from here!!!
Zynga solved it. Now George moves around his mine.

"My George is flattening Yvette against one of the guard towers. Which wouldn't be too bad if he was smooching her, but 'No' he has his big fat ugly butt right in her face........... poor girl " (Zynga's Forum)

What this big fat George can do... Well we were feeding him with big pieces of meat. Please!!! Don't feed him... He is already BIG lol

Sorry!!! No one come up with a way of moving him. Lots of trying with the Viking Mine, but George doesn't move or it moves and it returns. Only Zynga can solve this.

Castleville: How to Get Berries, Grog's Belch and Grubs

How to Get Berries and Grog's Belch

Berries and Grogs' Belch drop from clearing grass, or tending cattail, small fern, roots and  mushrooms. So, if you need them, go on and click those in your neighbors. You will get these items and without spending energy.

How to Get Grubs

Grubs drops when you clear dead logs. If you don't have any, you can buy one from the market, by 250 coins. Be aware that if you don't have your limit of beasties, you can also have a wolf poping up when clearing this item, as all other forest items. If you are having problems to get them, try to clear dead logs in your kingdom and with beasties not maxed out.

Castleville: Stuck in Goal 5- Breaking the Ice?

Help! I can't break the ice to free !

It looks to be some confusion regarding the Goal 5. The Second Date Breaking Ice George Quest:

"Break George’s Pick out of the ice it is encased in (You need to use an Ice Pick to break the icy shell encasing George’s Tool)".

This goal is about getting loose George's tool at his side and NOT George himself. For that you still need to:

Castleville: Stuck in The Golden Egg Goal Quest

Castleville: Did You Get Golden Tree? When and How to

Have you seen this Golden Tree and wonder how to get it?

Golden Oak Tree is a reward from Rafael's quest Adventure Club (available for level 26).

This tree gives you 20 wood logs,
every 21 hours.
Each Lumber (Logging) Camps gives 5 logs, each.  Need space? Store one (or more) of them in your cellar. I only stored one because the BENCH to be crafted obliges that you have one of these buildings. Also, it is my way for checking how many wood planks do I own, in a very quick way, through the Workshop.

FAQ's: Missing a keg after crafting?

Users have expressed much concern over locating crafted kegs and we have found the answer! Crafted kegs are a decoration item and can be located under the "DECOR" section of the inventory.

The CastleVille engineers have crafted hundreds of kegs in an effort to investigate the problem of "missing kegs" after crafting. It has been discovered that everything functions normally. Now let's just hope these same engineers can find a belly for all the extra crafting! Good luck :)

Castleville: How to get a Blue Feather

Zinga decided to take out the requirement of Blue Feathers from the Dye Kit.
You can get a Blue Feather  by the following ways:
  1. By Feeding Adult Peacock (in your kingdom or neighbors kingdom)
  2. Using the Super-Chop.
  3. You can also solve your first problem, buying the dye kit with CROWNS.
Blue feather is a rare material item. It was used to craft dye kit in the Studio, and you also needed to own the tailor building. There are more quests that need this item in the crafting process, as the flag, large banner, etc...
In the Studio, when crafting the Dye Kit, you get the hint that you will find a blue feather feeding Adult Peacock.
1. Adult Peacock
First suggestion goes to GET PEACOCKS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (or even use 1 crown to unlock it) and buy at least 5 of them, to increase your changes to get blue feathers.
There is also a second way to get blue feathers, that it is described below. Be aware that both are not easy and they will really test your patience and luck.
2. Super Chop
OR ...
You can buy the super chop by 20 reputation points, from the market in the consumables tab.

3. Castleville Cash
If I still don't get a blue feather for Dye Kit?
You will need 1 Dye Kit for building the Taylor. For this Dye Kit, you need 3 blue feathers. Taylor building is needed because it produces cotton cloths and you need 5 of them to build the Throne Royal Building and increase your castle points.
So, why not spending 4 crowns from those that you get for leveling up and getting your dye kit? Meanwhile, buy several Peacocks (at least 5) to get blue feathers.
Quests where you need dye kits:
  • Yvette Hairy Tale Quest (Lovelorn Quest 4 of 14) - Have 3 Dye Kits so Yvette's roots aren't showing
  • Yvette Color Girl Quest (Lovelorn Quest 11 of 14) - Have 2 Dye Kits so Yvette can make everything colorful
  • Izadora Scandalous Quest (Party Girl: Quest 9 of 10) - Craft 1 Dye Kit to recolor Izzy's hair
  • Izadora Model Citizen Quest (The Diva: Quest 5 of 11) - Have 2 Dye Kits to make your tunic look fabulous

Where can I get items without spending energy?

On the feed.
There are plenty of posts on the feed, as free energy and crystal shards. Also,  you can pick up really helpful items like free gold bricks, rolling pins etc all of which you will need.

How can I change my crew members from Royal buildings?

Sorry! Currently there is no way to remove people from crew.
Only selling the building and doing a new one.

How do I keep track of which friends I am a crew member?
You have to make a manual list. The game does not have anything for you to know, except a heart when you visit the neighbour.  However this is also bugged and you MAY NOT see the heart, the best thing to do is to mouse over all Castle Buildings and if 'tend here!' appears then that's one you are crew too.

How to Post a Guide in the Forum

" Hey Guide Creators, Don't see a guide about a feature in the game and want to help out by creating your own? Well this is the place to get started." ~Marquess Mayo

  1. You'll need to create a thread, with the information in it, in the General CastleVille Discussion forum or the Questions and Answers forum.
  2. Once created, you may send the super-moderator "Marquess Mayo" a Private Message to let know about the guide.
  3. The guide will be stickied and
  4. Moved to this forum.

Any guide that feature unreleased content, exploits or anything that violates the Rules of Conduct will be removed and not submitted to the Guides forum.

Tips for when creating a guide:

  • Make sure to keep your paragraphs short and your points easy to understand.
  • Providing pictures isn't necessary, but is a major plus!

Beasties

What are Beasties?
Beasties are gloom creatures which lockdown the area around where they spawn.

Examples: rats, wolfs, ...

Lockdown: Anything in Lockdown will be indicated by being darkened with a red border around it.

You will not be able to interact with anything in lockdown. Clicking on anything in lockdown will spawn a pop-up prompt alerting you that piece of your Kingdom is locked down.

How do Beasties end up in my Kingdom?

While performing in game actions, there is a small chance a Beastie will spawn. You may also encounter them upon expanding your Kingdom or in the course of completing a quest.

How do I get rid of Beasties?
Click on the Beastie you would like to Target to attack it. Beasties normally require more than one strike to be taken out. The bar above it indicates how close you are to removing it from your Kingdom.

Is there an easier way to defeat Beasties?
Yes! A Super Clobber can be used to defeat a Beastie with a single blow. They can be found in the Consumables section in the Market and can be crafted in the Workshop.

Can my Neighbors help me with Beasties?
Yes! They can navigate to your Kingdom and thrash the Beasties which have invaded. You can also help out in the same fashion in their Kingdom as well.

Fighting Beasties is fun, is there a way for me to fight them besides waiting on them to spawn?

Yes! Each beastie has its own potion which you can use to spawn them. Keep in mind that Beasties drawn in by a potion function the same as those spawned normally, so part of your Kingdom will be locked down until it is defeated.
